A STUDY OF THE MENTAL HEALTH OF REPEATEE

Abstract
In Korea. "repeatees" for college entrance are increasing in number year by year, and they have presented many problems. In order to understanding their psychiatric preblems, the auther had surveyed 779 repeatees whe were studying at four institutions with fifty one questiens of C. M. I. (Cernell Medical Index-Health Questionnaire), which consisted with symptoms to be found frequency in the mentally disturbed, from October to November 1974 in Busan. The reults of C. M. I. of the the subject were compared with these of townspeople.
The results are as followings;
1. Mean number of complained symptems of 779 repeatees is 15.10 and in townspeople it is 10.87, se repeatees complained significantly more numerous number of symptems than townspeople did. It implies that the repeatees have more psychological disturban¡©ces than townspeople have.
2. The rates of complained symptoms of all re¡©peatees for each item are as followings; item of sensitivity is the highest in rate and items of inade¡©quacy and anger are next ones.
